Every vehicle is assumed to need repairs for PA State Inspection and is sold "AS IS-WHERE IS - NO WARRANTY"
"AS IS-WHERE IS - NO WARRANTY" Please Note: These motor vehicles are sold as is without any warranty either expressed or implied. The purchaser will bear the entire expense of repairing or correcting any defects that presently exist or that may occur in the vehicle.
BIDDER REGISTRATION:
All buyers must register and receive a bidder number to purchase at the auto auction. There is a $5 public registration fee to get a bidder number.
Bidder registration is Monday - Friday 9-5 and Saturday starting at 8:00am. Come early and pre-register to avoid long lines.
Internet registration is available.
Register online, then the day of the auction check in at the internet registration window with I.D., pay the $5 registration fee and you will receive your bidder number.
Please note: If you plan to attend you must register and receive a new bidder number for every auction. You must be 21 to participate in the Auctions.

PAYMENT:
1. CASH or CASHIER'S CHECK PAYMENTS ARE PREFERRED!
2. BUSINESS CHECKS MAY BE USED, but it must be accompanied by an "IRREVOCABLE BANK LETTER OF GUARANTEE" (use bank letter link to print out the example and take it to the bank) No drafts. All checks made payable to 422 Sales. All purchases are subject to verification with your bank or financial institution, and this must be done three days prior to sale day.
3. CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: Only one credit card transaction per deal will be accepted for 25% of the total and up to but not to exceed $2500. Buyers fees on credit card purchases are $200 + 16% of the bid price.
NO OTHER FORMS OF PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED! NO MONEY ORDERS, PERSONAL CHECKS OR TRAVELERS CHECKS!
Come with acceptable funds ready to buy!
BUYER FEES ON TITLED MOTOR VEHICLES SOLD AT THE AUTO AUCTION: $200 + 10% OF BID PRICE
BUYER FEES ON NON-TITLED ITEMS SOLD AT THE AUTO AUCTION: 10% OF THE BID PRICE + 6% SALES TAX
DEPOSIT REQUIRED ON EVERY VEHICLE: 25% cash or credit card deposit of total purchase price (Total Purchase = Bid amount + buyer's fees)!
Deposit Holds Vehicle for 1 week. If not paid at the end of the week, deposit will be forfeited and vehicle will be resold.
DEALER PAYMENT TERMS: Pre-approved checks, cash and bank checks. PAYMENT IN FULL SALE DAY - NO EXCEPTIONS!
PLATES AND TITLES
422 is a full service notary.
Pennsylvania Residents: PA plates can be issued and transferred for PA residents with the proper ID and insurance in their name.
Out of State Residents: 30 day transit plates can be issued to anyone who lives outside the state of PA with the proper ID and insurance in their name.
All state fee's and taxes will be paid by the buyer.
CHILDREN
The 422 Auction is no place for Children. Please do not bring anyone to the auction who is under 16 years old. This is for thier safety!
Reserves
Consignors have the option of placing reserves on vehicles consigned to the auction. There is a $100 fee for each vehicle consigned with a reserve and is paid by the consignor at the time consignment is received by 422.
The vehicles sold at our auction come from various sources such as new and used car dealers, municipalities, school districts, contractors, charities and public sellers as well.
Auction Vehicles are available for inspection the day before the auction, (Friday) from 9 am - 5 pm.
